Window cleaning inDoor County
We are based in Sturgeon Bay. When you call about a house in Fish Creek or a cottage in Ellison Bay, you are not calling a dispatcher who will send someone up the peninsula whenever a gap appears — you are calling Alex or Trevor, and one of us is already on this side of the bay.
Panes, tracks, sills and screens, for year-round homes, second homes and rental properties, from Brussels and Forestville all the way up to Gills Rock. Every quote is free and none of them carry an obligation.
What we clean
Window panes
Interior and exterior pane cleaning for streak-free glass that lets all the light back in.
Track and sill
Dirt, debris and buildup pulled out of the tracks and sills, the spots that always get missed.
Screen cleaning
Dust and pollen off your screens, so your views stay sharp and your airflow stays fresh.
What the peninsuladoes to glass
Mineral haze off the water
Spray carries off the bay, dries on the glass and leaves its minerals sitting there. On lakeside windows that builds into a haze that ordinary cleaner pushes around instead of lifting. It comes off, but it takes the right approach rather than a bottle and a rag.
A hard spring for pollen
The peninsula greens up fast and everything that blooms ends up on the south and west elevations. If you open a place for the season before that settles, you often want the glass done twice — once to open, once after the trees are finished.
Webs on a wooded lot
Frames, soffits and screen edges collect webs all summer, particularly on properties backed by woods. We clear them off the frames and screens while we are there, not just off the pane.
Big glass facing the view
Most of the houses up here were built to look at something. Large fixed picture windows are the whole reason the room is pointed that way, and they are also the panes where a streak is most obvious. They get cleaned inside and out.
Rentals, turnoversand seasonal opens
A good share of the property on this peninsula is rented, and rental glass gets looked at harder than anybody's own. Guests notice a smeared slider on the first morning.
We work turnovers between bookings, seasonal opens in spring and close-ups in autumn. Tell us the dates you are working around and we will tell you honestly what we can fit. If a place needs doing between a Saturday checkout and a Sunday check-in, say so when you call rather than after.
Most jobs work out around $12 a pane inside and out, or about $6 a pane if you only want the outside done. Size and access move it either way, so the quickest way to a real number is to ask. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.

Door County questions
Do you travel to the north end of the peninsula?
Yes — Sister Bay, Ellison Bay, Gills Rock, all of it. We are based in Sturgeon Bay, so the length of the county is a normal working drive rather than a special trip, and it does not change the price.
Can you clean between guest bookings?
That is a lot of what we do up here. Give us the turnover window when you call and we will tell you straight away whether we can hit it.
Do you clean cottages that are only open part of the year?
Yes. Opening a place up for the season and closing it down again are both normal jobs for us. If nobody is going to be there, we can work that out with you beforehand.
How far ahead should I book?
Spring and early summer are the busiest stretch on the peninsula, so earlier is better for those. Call or text and we will give you an honest answer about your dates rather than a maybe.
